Are you buying or adopting a new dog? We’re happy to help you with whatever you need during the process!
The most common services include:
New dog assessments. We can meet you and your potential new dog to assess their personality and behavior. This is helpful because having non-biased information is crucial in taking home the right dog.
We’ll even help you find a rescue dog to adopt. This is called ‘adoption assistance’.
Home inspections and suggestions based on the age, size, and type of dog you’re getting.

Private training

Meeting a dog in their home usually teaches us a lot about how you and your dog interact, expectations you’ve already set for your dog, and how fun they see your relationship as being.
Many unwanted behaviors stem from a dog’s inability to self-regulate (aka lack of impulse control). So starting with training in your home is usually step number one.
We’ll come up with a unique plan for training your specific dog, family, and home environment. Not every dog learns the same way, and that’s ok! Let’s figure out what your dog needs, together.
-
Having a dog should make your life bigger, not smaller. The ability to be out in the big wide world, with your dog, is full of never ending rewards!
We love meeting you and your dog out in the world to see how we can help you transform unwanted behaviors into the dog everyone wants to be seen with.
We can meet you at a local park, brewery, winery, etc. You let us know what you want and we’ll come up with a fun training plan.
-
Do you love having people at your home but need your dog to take a chill pill? It is so hard to work on the initial steps of training your dog to be calm when guests arrive.
We can help! We’ll come a few minutes before your guests arrive. If you want us to stay to help with the initial greeting and/or stay for the entire event we’ve got you covered!
-
Is hiring the local, uneducated stranger not quite your style? Us either. Giving your dog and access to your home to someone is a huge responsibility.
We’ll come take your dog for a 1 hour walk with training!
We work on:
Respectfully welcome guests into your home.
Calmly waiting for collar and/or harness and leash attachment.
Waiting at doorways until invited through (in & out).
Waiting outside of the door until the walk officially begins.
Walking nicely on leash.
Focus on handler (us people).
Desensitization to the outside world.
We send you:
Photos and/or videos.
Training goals and advice.
Progress notes based on the training during each session/walk.
-
